Live Interview: The Reskilling Revolution - Better Skills for a More Sustainable Future The World Economic Forum says that “with 75 million jobs expected to be displaced due to automation and technological integration in the coming years, worries around unequal opportunity, large-scale unemployment and widening income inequality are rising. The transformation will also create demand for an estimated 133 million new jobs with vast new opportunities for fulfilling people’s potential and aspirations”. We add that if we do not invest in more sustainable (green) skills there would be little space to fulfill green jobs and achieve the goals set by the United Nations in 2015 by 2030. The 4th industrial revolution fostered an impressive technological advancement. However, this has been negatively impacting the environment. We have an opportunity to make technology sustainable and potentially save our planet. But how can we do this without a properly skilled workforce?
