Mary Alice Amidon tells this traditional Irish folktale which she learned from the picture book "The Faerie's Gift" by Tanya Robyn Batt, illustrated by Nicoletta Ceccoli, Barefoot Books, Cambridge MA. Mary Alice made up the songs to the story. Mary Alice is on banjo, Peter Amidon guitar.
