submitted by Retired Tomcat on 11/17/20 1

This Landmine Rotational Squat to Press is a combination of landmine squat with rotational press. This is a functional exercise that combines two planes of movement simultaneously. Anatomical analysis: The target muscles are the quadriceps femoris, gluteus maximus and anterior deltoid (colored red) The quadriceps femoris muscle extends the knee. The gluteus maximus extends the thigh at the hip joint. The anterior deltoid flexes the shoulder. And the spinal erectors with the other core muscles stabilize the thorax. The upper trapezius, lower trapezius and serratus anterior rotate the scapula upwards. Common mistake: Extension in the spine and the hip, usually as a result of weak delts or lack of awareness.
