This video shows you how to configure RIP Version 2 (RIPv2) on Cisco Routers using the GNS3 network simulator program on Windows 10. ✅ S U B S C R I B E ► goo.gl/8d0iG9 ✅ Article ► www.sysnettechsolutions.com/en/configure-rip-version-2-on-cisco-router-in-gns3/ To configure #RIP Version 2 (#RIPv2): Step 1: If you have not installed GNS3 on Windows, Linux, or even macOS before, please refer to the following videos. Windows ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuJ5qXFpr7Q Linux / Ubuntu ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6A2peSovLU macOS ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWStTRpwqBY Step 2: After installing it, you need the Cisco #Router IOS images you will use on the simulator software. To download the most appropriate images, please click the reference link below. ➦ www.sysnettechsolutions.com/en/cisco-ios-download-for-gns3/ Step 3: After downloading the IOS image, add it to #GNS3. If you do not know how to add it, the following reference link will help you. ➦ www.sysnettechsolutions.com/en/add-cisco-ios-gns3/ Step 4: After adding it, drag and drop two Cisco Routers to the workspace. Step 5: Also, add two Cisco Switches to the workspace from the tools. Step 6: Using VPCS on GNS3 will give you performance. Add four VPCS to the workspace. If you do not know how to configure VPCS, the video will help you. Step 7: Before configuring RIP Version 2, specify two different network addresses. For example; A) 192.168.5.0/25 B) 192.168.5.128/25 Step 8: Connect the Cisco Routers with the Serial Interface. Connect the Cisco Switches to the Ethernet ports of Cisco Routers. Finally, connect the VPCS to the Switches and proceed to the next step. Step 9: Assign IP addresses to the Serial and Ethernet interfaces of Cisco Routers and enable ports with no shutdown command. ➦ no shutdown Step 10: Finally, configure the IP of the VPCS. Step 11: Note the subnet mask while configuring VPCS. Step 12: Check the connection by pinging the Cisco Router's interfaces from the VPCS. Step 13: In GNS3, two different networks cannot communicate with each other without configuring RIPv2 on Cisco Routers. Step 14: To configure RIPv2 on Cisco Routers, first, open the CLI command prompt on the Router named R1 and execute the following commands. R1# conf t R1#(config)# router rip R1#(config-router)# version 2 R1#(config-router)# network 10.1.1.0 R1#(config-router)# 192.168.5.0 R1#(config-router)# end Step 15: To configure RIPv2 on Cisco Router R2, perform the following commands. R2# conf t R2#(config)# router rip R2#(config-router)# version 2 R2#(config-router)# network 10.1.1.0 R2#(config-router)# 192.168.5.128 R2#(config-router)# end Step 16: After configuring the routing information protocol, check out the configuration using show commands. RIP Routing Verification Commands: ➦ show ip protocols ➦ show ip route ➦ show ip interface brief ➦ show ip rip database ➦ debug ip rip Step 17: Don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more videos on Cisco training with GNS3! ────BEST PRODUCT FOR CISCO TRAINING────── ✅ Buy ► bit.ly/CiscoNetworkingEssentials ──────────── RELATED VIDEOS ────────────── ➊ How to Integrate VMware with GNS3 ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwE9VaZ7lXQ ➋ How to Configure RIP ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=839dk8lYhFU ➌ How to Configure Cloud in GNS3 ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=DVokiwWzlxk ➍ How to Configure OSPF ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFMvgpDSzlI ➎ How to Configure EIGRP ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJC3UERvdnQ ───────────────FOLLOW US─────────────────── ✔ Facebook ➦ www.facebook.com/SysnettechSolutions/ ✔ Twitter ➦ twitter.com/SysnettechS/ ✔ Pinterest ➦ www.pinterest.com/SysnettechS/ ✔ Instagram ➦ www.instagram.com/sysnettech_solutions/ ✔ LinkedIn ➦ linkedin.com/in/tolqabaqci/ ███████████████████████████████████████████
