Windows ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fp_2NjI4W58 Linux ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDxXx9fMQAQ macOS ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITg_TQibjAQ Step 2: After performing the installation, add two Cisco Routers and Cisco Switches to the workspace. Step 3: If you have previously added the Cisco Router IOS image to the program, browse the following video. Video ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErzQ_Lcx9uo Step 4: It is better to use VMware Workstation virtual machines for Static Routing configuration. To use VMware virtual machines, you can browse the following video. Video ➦ www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwE9VaZ7lXQ Step 5: Before creating VMs, specify two different network addresses. For example; A) 192.168.5.0/24 B) 192.168.10.0/24 Step 6: Configure the IP configuration of VMs according to the network ranges you specify. Step 7: Add virtual machines to GNS3 and connect them to Cisco Switches. Step 8: Connect the Routers with the Serial Cable. Step 9: After connecting the Switches to the Routers, run all the devices. Step 10: Assign IP addresses to the FastEthernet and Serial interfaces of Routers and no shutdown their ports. Step 11: To configure or enable Static Route on the Router in GNS3, apply the following commands as an example. For Cisco Router R1: R1(config)# ip route 192.168.10.0 255.255.255.0 10.1.1.2 For Cisco Router R2: R1(config)# ip route 192.168.5.0 255.255.255.0 10.1.1.1 Step 12: Ping to network 2 from network 1 and check the network connection. Step 13: You will see that they can communicate computers at two different locations with Static Routing. Step 14: You can use show commands to check the config on Routers. Step 15: Watch the entire video for the rest of the process.
