This video shows you the steps to create and configure VLANs on Cisco Switch using Cisco Packet Tracer. It also shows how to add computers on the network to created VLANs. ✅ S U B S C R I B E ► goo.gl/8d0iG9 ✅ Article ► www.sysnettechsolutions.com/en/configure-vlan-on-cisco-switch-in-cisco-packet-tracer/ To #create a #VLAN: Step 1: First, open the #PacketTracer software and add a Cisco Router, Switch and six computers to the workspace. Step 2: Connect all the computers you added to the Switch. Connect the switch to the Router. Step 3: Identify the computers for different VLAN groups and note them in the workspace. Step 4: Configure the TCP / IP settings of the PCs according to the VLAN subnets you will create. Step 5: Now execute the vlan 10, vlan 20 and vlan 30 command in the CLI command prompt of the Switch and assign names to the VLANs you created with the name command in config-vlan mode. Step 6: You can control the virtual LANs you have created using the show vlan command in Enable mode. Step 7: Now, to configure the groups to be subscribed to the interfaces of computers connected to the Switch, execute the switchport mode access and switchport access vlan (VLAN Number) command in the config mode of the relevant interface. Do this on all ports according to the VLAN group. Step 8: Test the network connection by pinging PC0's computers that are members of other groups. Ping will fail because Inter-VLAN Routing is not configured on the Router. Step 9: Now assign management IP addresses for the VLANs you created on the Switch. To do this, first run the interface vlan 10 command in enable mode, and then execute the command ip address 192.168.10.100 255.255.255.0. Step 10: The purpose of our video tutorial was just to examine how to create a new VLAN and how to make computers subscribe to VLANs.
