I had a difficult time finding some sort of guide to walk me through the process of setting a website up and handling the back-end. Over the past few weeks I have taught myself the basics of managing my own web properties and I wanted to share what I have learned with you. In this tutorial I go over and walk through setting up a website from scratch. I walk through getting a domain name for the new website, getting the website hosted, logging into the control panel, installing the content management system Wordpress for the website, choosing a website theme, adding pages, creating logos for the website and miscellaneous things that help make the website look professional.
