Ether 1-5 | November 9-15 Lesson 44—November 8 “Rend That Veil of Unbelief” #prayer #cryuntotheLord #bookofether #brotherofjared What would we lose without the Book of Ether? The Book of Mormon could have ended at Mormon 9, but what wouldn’t we have without this indispensible book? The Book of Ether is vital to our belief system and it’s a validation of God working with people in difficult situations. We learn so much about prayer and communion with God in Ether 1-5. These chapters beg the question, what does it mean to cry unto the Lord? How do you, personally, cry unto the Lord? We learn from the brother of Jared that God can touch the dark places of our hearts like He touched the stones. He can come to those really dark places inside of us and light it up if we take our proverbial stones to Him. We want to invite you to figure out what crying unto the Lord means for you. Try writing down your prayers with a pen and paper and let that unlock the unspoken words of your soul. And then let the Savior touch those parts and light them up.
