In this video I am going to show you how to make a hanging terrarium with living succulent's. In this tutorial I will show you what I used and how it turned out in the end. These are gorgeous and are easy home décor accents that will liven up any window. I made this easy hanging living succulent terrarium DIY for only of couple of dollars. I used a Dollar Tree hanging terrarium that is in stores now (spring 2018). I used some rocks I already had at home. I had some succulent and cactus soil on hand from previous gardening, as well as some jute twine. You will also need a small living succulent or succulent clippings to propagate. I used clippings from an overgrown succulent I already had. You can get succulents from Wal-Mart, Home Depot or Lowes for about $3.00-$4.00. I added a layer of rocks to the bottom of the terrarium, then my soil mixture. I stuck the succulent clippings down into the soil carefully. I then added another layer of rocks to the top of the soil. Then I added the jute twine to the top so it can hang in a window. Mist your clippings 1-2 times a week or as needed. In a few weeks the clippings will start to grow new roots. Trim the succulents as they grow so the terrarium does not get over crowded. Let me know if you have any questions! Enjoy!
