To save his own face , he launched an allout assault on India even after signing a treaty . India never perceived China as enemy . And fact was , the enemy was not China , but a man who killed millions of his own people , torn down their houses and temples and mosquers , burnt the Quran and had no respect for life and culture . Mao was never a Chinese man to follow and today China itself has proved it by by turning down Maos ideology and going instead for liberalization . India and China are one of the most ancient civilization and has a common history . Let us look for a brighter future without backward forces like Maoism .
