I've been working on this for a while. Raiders of the Lost Ark has always been my favorite film and I took on the daunting task of editing a trailer as a thank you of sorts. This is only an editing exercise for me. I realize that I'm probably going to get a lot of (negative) feedback regarding the fact that I don't use the Raiders March theme prominently in the trailer, but it didn't really lend itself to the type of editing I was going for. If you listen to it, you'll notice that it's much slower and more regal than the traditional type of intense trailer music whereas I wanted something to get your blood pumping. That being said, my hope for this trailer is that it rekindles your love for such an amazing film, or sparks your interest if you have yet to see it. I made all of the title cards myself in After Effects and the music is a piece called "Freedom Fighters" by an amazing group called Two Steps From Hell. Needless to say, I do not own the rights to any of this footage or the music that accompanies it. A huge thank you to Steven Spielberg for being such an influence on me.
