This week we study Matthew 11:20-24 where Jesus pronounces judgment on a few of the towns around the Sea of Galilee. In these towns, Jesus had performed many miracles and the crowds heard his transformational teaching. Although many followed Jesus, there weren't large numbers of people who truly repented of their sin before God and trusted in Jesus as the Messiah. We must be careful in our churches that we don't simply go through the motions of religiosity; we must turn from our sin and in faith turn to Jesus!
