Many teams began to offer large amounts of money, such as Chelsea and Real Madrid, but Neymar preferred to stay with the Santos. Neymar started with the Selección Brasilena at the age of 18 in August of 2010 against the United States. Neymar made his first goal on this team during this game. Many thought that they should take Neymar to the World Cup in South Africa in 2010, but Brazil's coach decided not to. Later Neymar played in the American Cup 2012 where he made 2 goals in the championship. In the Olympic Games in London he made four goals and took the Brazilian team to the finals- but they lost to Mexico. Without a doubt Neymar is now one of the most important players from the Brazilian team and will be the center of much attention now that the next World Cup will be located in Brazil 2014. His team, Santos, came out champions of the copa libertadores and he made 5 goals in the tournament. He was chosen as the best player of the tournament. Neymar is considered to be the new best player of the world. Neymar has awesome skillas and tricks better than anyone.
