I'll admit I was never particularly fond of Star Trek The Motion Picture, but working on this trailer certainly gave me a newfound appreciation for it. There are many great aspects of this film that were lost in long drawn out scenes (staring at the viewscreen FOREVER) but at it's heart was a true depiction of what Star Trek is all about. I hope that viewing this reinvigorates your interest in the movie (or at think the trailer is kick ass). Please note that I did use some shots from the Director's Cut DVD vs the blu ray release, so quality varies. Also many thanks to my friend, Chad, who helped me out with the titles. Enjoy!
