Hundreds gathered outside the police department in Rochester, New York, to protest over the killing of Daniel Prude, a black man who died in March. Police bodycam footage of his arrest sparked protests last week, after it was published. The video showed police covering Prude's head with a 'spit hood' and holding him on the ground before he stopped breathing. He was taken to hospital but was declared brain-dead and was subsequently taken off life support.
