2013 CO 4th of July 16u Championship - Gametime (OK) vs Fury (TN) www.cosparkfire.com The Triple Crown Sparkler and Fireworks are known as the perfect combination of competitive fastpitch, college exposure, memory-maker, and vacation destination. The 2013 Sparkler/Fireworks involved over 900 teams playing games on 100+ ballfields across the metro Denver area and Northern Colorado. Among the many memorable aspects of Sparkler/Fireworks are the All-Star Games with rosters that "team-up" players from across the country. The featured games in the Sparkler/Fireworks All-American Game-- one of four televised games in 2013-- which showcases a combination of talent and compelling personalities that creates the kind of positive story we all hope to see in youth sports. The other three televised games featured power pool championships at the 14u, 16u, and 18u levels. Teams that survived a challenging run through preliminary rounds advanced to the power pool playoffs. All of the Championship match-ups were televised live nationally on CBS Sports Network.
