Scholar and poet Jericho Brown (Associate Professor and the Director of the Creative Writing Program at Emory University) reads and discusses his poetry, as well as situates James Baldwin’s writing within a linage of creative African American cultural criticism. He recently published The Tradition, a collection that received the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 2020.
