King Mosiah sets up a new government led by righteous judges. Just five years into the reign of the judges, a crisis arose that would test Mosiah’s declaration that the voice of the people would usually choose what was right (see Mosiah 29:26). The issue involved religious freedom: a man named Amlici sought to “deprive [the people] of their rights and privileges of the church” (Alma 2:4). This week's video is Mosiah 29 - Alma 4 and we call No Kings & Amlici Observation: In the past members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were know by either mormons or LDS, we prefer to be referred to as members of The Church of Jesus Christ.
