Specifically, a force field is a vector field {\displaystyle {\vec {F}}}{\vec {F}}, where {\displaystyle {\vec {F}}({\vec {x}})}{\vec {F}}({\vec {x}}) is the force that a particle would feel if it were at the point {\displaystyle {\vec {x}}}{\vec {x}}. In Newtonian gravity, a particle of mass M creates a gravitational field {\displaystyle {\vec {g}}={\frac {-GM}{r^{2}}}{\hat {r}}}{\vec {g}}={\frac {-GM}{r^{2}}}{\hat {r}}, where the radial unit vector {\displaystyle {\hat {r}}}{\hat {r}} points away from the particle. The gravitational force experienced by a particle of light mass m, close to the surface of Earth is given by {\displaystyle {\vec {F}}=m{\vec {g}}}{\vec {F}}=m{\vec {g}}, where g is the standard gravity. An electric field {\displaystyle {\vec {E}}}{\vec {E}} is a vector field. It exerts a force on a point charge q given by {\displaystyle {\vec {F}}=q{\vec {E}}}{\vec {F}}=q{\vec {E}}. A gravitational force field is a model used to explain the influence that a massive body extends into the space around itself, producing a force on another massive body. Find out more about fields of force in this video. Physics is a challenging subject. Physics in class 12 is the start of understanding complicated concepts, ideas, laws and numerical calculations. It can be overwhelming, we know. Edkasa helps hundreds of students build a focused understanding of Physics and improve exam performance. Our lectures are in Urdu or Hindi so you can easily understand the concept. If you are an intermediate, FSc., MDCAT, ECAT, NEET, or class 12 student taking Physics as a subject you must check out all our physics videos on www.youtube.com/edkasa. We breakdown all physics concepts in your textbooks as well as solve book problems and numerical with you in our videos. We also walk you through the most common question that have repeatedly shown up on past papers and exams so that you can be best prepared to answer them as soon as you see them on your actual exam. Best of all, our YouTube videos are free so you can watch them anytime, anywhere and as many times as you like. Edkasa Learning Comes Home
