On March 24, 2019, veteran Lamont Peterson battled Sergey Lipinets in an exciting welterweight bout, live on FS1 from MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland. For Peterson, this would serve as the final bout of his professional career, as he announced his retirement at the fight's conclusion.
