NYC Smoke-Free introduces "RC Voices" our new docu-series following Reality Check Teens as they interview their friends, family and peers on how tobacco affects their everyday life. Season 1; Episode 2 "Tobacco in Film" Smoking and tobacco imagery in movies recruits almost 200,000 new smokers annually. The Tobacco industry has collaborated with the movie industry since the 1920s to promote their deadly product. In this second episode of RC Voices, NYC students share some insight on smoking in movies and the why Big Tobacco uses this tactic to hook young people as replacement smokers.
