Interview with Bhushan Kumar | T Series | Anupama Chopra | World Music Day

submitted by HE on 05/04/20 1

At the age of 19, Bhushan Kumar took over T Series after his father Gulshan Kumar's passing. In this interview, he tells us about how he has built the company over the years, making T Series one of the world's biggest YouTube channels. Kumar tells us about developing a strong ear for music and how he knows when a song will become a chartbuster like in the case of Aashiqui2, Yaariyaan, Suraj Dooba Hai and many others. He also responds to trends in the music business that many insiders frown on like multiple composers for an album, remixes and lack of creative freedom. Have you subscribed to Film Companion yet?
