Link to the full interview: www.dreamengine.com.au/podcast/presenting-on-camera/ Today, our Web Video Marketing Show podcast is focusing on how to present well in front of the camera, something which was previously the domain of professional TV presenters, but has become more and more common for people whom have their own video blog, YouTube channel, or host video news updates on their website. Therefore, presenting on camera, and acting naturally on camera, is becoming a necessary skill for a lot of us. I know it's not nearly as easy as the professional presenters make it look. And I know that plenty of Web Video Marketing Show listeners feel the same! With this in mind, I've invited online video marketing expert, and high profile video blogger Gideon Shalwick on to the show. One of Gideon's Youtube channels has received over ten million views. And most importantly, he has learned to connect with his audience, and looks at home whilst presenting on camera. I've noticed that when I watch Gideon's videos, it feels as though he's speaking directly to me, and after watching his videos for a while, it feels like I know Gideon. I think this is a sign of a great presenter. I'm going to ask Gideon about his process, what is important for people who are presenting on camera, and what techniques he's developed to make this effortless sense of connection and intimacy.
