TACSI (in partnership with IRT) has recently been running a research project on a Homesharing concept for older women. Women who are on their own, at risk of being homeless or just looking for an alternative to retirement villages can be matched, move in with each other, share financials burdens and their lives with each other. The project is currently researching the best way to match participants and hopes an aged care provider will use their research and be able to provide a service for older people to use.
