iedwebmarketing.com/ Hi my name is Ken Wells, today I'd like to talk to you about your Online Reputation Score and you probably never heard of that before however it's really going to a affect the amount of phone calls that your company receives. Up till now you had the fight with your ranking which you still going to have to continue to do. But, now you're also going to have the fight for your reputation. So, let me explain how this works. Every time a somebody uses your product or service they have an opportunity that they can go to the internet and they can post a review on your company and they're been able to do this for years and you're going to see this more and more and more. But, right now, your customers can post a review on Google or Yahoo or Bing. They can go to City Search or Yellow Pages or in Yelp and the list just goes on and on and what Google does is that they take all of these reviews from all the other sites even on Google's competition which is Yahoo and Bing and they compiles all of these and comes up with a reputation scores there scores are based on 30, other search engines is based on 5 and it really depends on the search engines. What I'm going to do today is like I'm going to based everything on a 5 star rating because everybody understands that? 5 star means that you have a great reputation, 1 star means that you have not so great reputation and if you don't have any stars at all means that you're just not rated. So, let's look at a typical scenario. Put yourself in your prospects shoes just for a second. You search online for a product or service similar to yours and lets say you look at the 1st three listings. The Top listing has a 3 star reputation, so 3 out of 5 so it is not bad. Let say the 2nd listing that you are looking at has no stars, so in other words, the company has no reviews yet and let's say the 3rd listing has a 5 star reputation. So, the question really comes down to this, WHO IS THAT YOU'RE GOING TO CALL? WHO IS THAT YOU'RE PROSPECTS GOING TO CALL? Are they going to call the 3 star rating? Probably not, they are always going to call the 5 star rating. Are they going to call the rating that doesn't have any rating yet because they have no reviews? probably not! I mean if you have an opportunity to call somebody with the 5 star reputations that's who you're going to call? So even if you on the top of the list , it does not mean that your going to get the business. It the company on the first page that has the best reputation. So, if you are on the No.1 spot and the top couple of spots on Google that's a great and I'm sure you took a lot of time and effort to get there. However, if your reputation is not that great all you're really doing at this point is promoting the fact that you don't have a great reputation. But not to worry!
