Green economy, a solution for high youth unemployment

Deon Shekuza says that creating sustainable solutions to climate change could create employment opportunities for youth in Namibia. With the estimated youth unemployment rate in Namibia at over 40 percent in 2018, different sectors of the economy could be impacted if graduates do not meet the labour demands of the fourth industrial revolution. Deon Shekuza a youth advocate for sustainable development said that climate change and renewable energy solutions are one of the defining elements that could create youth employment for the fourth industrial revolution.
