CM | 1.5 This session reviews climate action planning in California to determine if the results have lived up to their overall objectives, or if they simply allow for compliance with state regulations through adoption. The discussion examines stated goals of greenhouse gas reduction and how they fit with new data on vehicle miles traveled, energy issues, and the transition to other forms of mobility needed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to mandated levels.
