I speak to Abdullah Hasani about starting my business (StudioPharm) and building a company from scratch. Abdullah opened the first Urban Cutz Barber Lounge, an upscale barbershop located in Concord, CA. Shortly after opening the doors of the first shop, a second Urban Cutz popped up! With two shops now open, Abdullah made the decision to take on more responsibility. In order to help his shops find quality barbers, Abdullah opened a trade school; Urban Barber College. UBC went on to become the largest barber school in the state of California. However, things weren’t always easy for the young entrepreneur.
