Want to learn more ways to use essential oils? Sign up for Aromahead Institute's free online class, the Introduction to Essential Oils! www.aromahead.com/courses/online/introduction-to-essential-oils The class is a great way to build a solid foundation in the understanding and use of essential oils...and it's completely FREE! This video is about how to make incense sticks with essential oils. Learn two ways to make incense sticks in this video, so whether you want to make a few sticks or you're making incense in bulk, you're covered! Make incense sticks individually starting at 0:32. To learn how to make incense in bulk, skip to 2:25. I'm using a simple olive dish in this video, which I reserve for making incense, but you can use any long narrow bowl. The great thing about making your own incense is you can custom blend your own scents, and using essential oils means you don't have to worry about what's in your incense (chemicals or synthetics). It's true Aromatherapy! **UPDATE** I learned that a lot of blank incense sticks (like those I use in the video) are made with potentially toxic ingredients. After a little searching, I found the company Scents of Earth, who make their blank incense with all natural ingredients and I decided to give them a try, and I am happy with their quality. --- Why does incense play such a key role in so many medicinal and spiritual traditions around the world? How does incense work to help us access deeper levels of wisdom and healing? Can you tap into these properties of incense and enhance your essential oil practice? I can answer the last question for you . . . YES! When you understand how to use incense and how to “listen” to it, you can bring new dimensions to your Aromatherapy practice. My friend Eric, owner of the Northwest School of Aromatic Medicine, can answer the first 2 questions and so much more! The “Listening to Incense” Home Study Course is offered by the Northwest School of Aromatic Medicine. It can teach you how to use incense in traditional and modern ways, so you can bring nuance and wisdom to your Aromatherapy practice. You’ll have the opportunity to experience for yourself why so many people love incense, and how it can put us in touch with your own roots, your own wisdom, and your ability to connect with the world in meaningful ways. Learn more about the course here! bit.ly/ListeningToIncense
