The Battle of Glendale, also known as Frazier’s Farm, was the sixth installment of the Seven Days Battles of the Peninsula Campaign as Union forces under George B. McClellan attempted to capture the Confederate capital of Richmond. On June 30, 1862, Confederate divisions under Benjamin Huger, James Longstreet and A.P. Hill attempted to cut off the Federals retreat to the James River.
