Also on hand is a bald headed ponce of a warlord that lives in a colony of abandoned off-shore oil rigs, and creates violence-crazed mutants which he makes fight in gladiatorial combat. Of course that chocolate gets all mixed-up in that peanut butter as the warlord hears tale of our super-powered protagonist and realizes she could be good sport for her pits, so he send out his marauders to collect her. Meanwhile Molly befriends an abandoned child whom she must defend while kicking marauder asses up under their hats! The first thing that hits you about Molly is it’s vibrant use of lurid color. The film may be set among the desert sands and scrub brush of a wasteland, but it’s punctuated with exciting splashes of comic book colors (including the aesthetics of Molly herself) that make this one unique visual feast. Also adding to the film’s uniqueness are raw, visceral fight scenes that actually have astounding impact, rather than the over-edited ballet like sequences we usually get in most action oriented flicks these days. There are also scenes of silent wandering featuring Molly that help accentuate her loneliness and contrast nicely with the more over-the-top elements on display, and the touching human element of the abandoned child that add even more dichotomy to the tale when compared with all of that ass kickin’ on hand! On the opposite end of things (though not really); Molly seems like it wants to go further with the crazy, but keeps it held back for the first two acts. Sure there is action, but there are plenty of breaks too. Well, when you get to the final thirty minutes you’ll see why as this flick goes into one shot, off-the-rails, ass smashing, batshit crazy mode that will leave you breathless! If you dig Mad Max and comic books in equal measure, as well as seeing an ass kicked thoroughly, then slap your putrid peepers on Molly post-haste; it’s over-the-top, action packed, and surprisingly filled with a great deal of heart among the bonce shattering violence! #freemovies #moviesonline #arthouse ···················································································· COPYRIGHT: All of the films published by us are legally licensed.
