Filmed in a vintage car graveyard/museum hidden in the woods of Georgia called "Old Car City", "Ol' Buick" is the first video release from Claudia Nygaard's album "Lucky Girl" (2019-2020). It was directed and edited by Joshua Britt & Neilson Hubbard for "Neighborhoods Apart", and features Claudia on guitar, along with bassist Dean Marold. Claudia found inspiration for the song from a greeting card she bought at a drug store that read "For some, love is the gentle wafting between two souls. For me it's more like the headlong collison of a Buick and an Oldsmobile." "OL’ BUICK" Lyrics I see the yellow light, and drive through it fast I see the double lines, I still try to pass I pay no attention to the hazard signs Cause there’s no caution in this heart of mine I love you like an ol’ Buick, smashing into an Oldsmobile Two tons of mid-century steel, souped up and ready to go I love you like an old Buick, revvin an engine that just misfires Taking the corners on just two tires Bald and ready to blow I hope I don’t need a tow I’m prayin this ain’t another one-way street Cause it’s a headlong collision every time we meet Is it me or you whose got the right of way? Will we be shattered glass & yellow tape? Bridge: But don’t gear down, oh baby don’t turn around It’s too late, to hit the brakes in time There’s just no stopping this heart of mine (Chorus Repeats) Tag: I hope I don’t need a tow I hope I don’t need a tow
