A view of this interesting now closed railroad car service facility in Wood River Illinois this facility was built in 1959 the same company built the first one in 1958 in Baton Rouge Louisiana which has been demolished I'm not sure what the future holds for this facility around 100 jobs were lost when the service closed its doors
