Here is how to play: Each student needs a plastic cup. On the tri-ple-ti ta part, they tap the top of the cup. I say "Top of the cup" in the same rhythm. Next they GRAB and pass the cup on the next two beats. On the verse, they GRAB and PASS (1st and 3rd beat) only, no tapping on the top. I have tested it out in my classroom and the students love it. At the end where the clown dances (don't ask, I was bored), I get the kids to pick up their cups and bang the ground repeatedly until the clown falls over. Not too hard of course. I know it wasn't part of the original song but it is fun to do. Anyway, change it to fit your class needs. Thanks for checking it out. LIKE and SUBSCRIBE if you enjoy it and feel free to leave feedback! NOTE: This video also has a fun ostinato at the end that the students can play instruments to, speak, or do body percussion with. After that, there is a slide that gives information about the songs composer, Vic Mizzy.
