Staged at the atmospheric Topsportcentrum in Almere, this edition of Dutch Open will be a big party for everyone. Being the thirteenth event in the 2013 BWF Grand Prix Gold and Grand Prix, all previous 12 Grand Prix events were competitively taking place with the Asian shuttlers emerging victorious in all but nine of the 60 championships contested, including the last Grand Prix Gold event in London which saw four championships dominated by elite European shuttlers.
