Growing up in Nigeria, on media there was no face that represent LGBTQI people, no books about LGBTQI, nothing was discussed by family and friends that have to do with LGBTQI, so I published a memoir to document the lives of West African gay men, I created a youtube channel to tell the stories of West African gay men and this is not an act of bravery but it was fueled by my passion for equitable living, to see a world where the young me would not have to cross the border of another country seeking freedom. www.edafeokporo.com Video credits: Finite Visual (Paul Morgan)
