Where to Eat Late Night in Amsterdam - Drunk Eats

submitted by Huzzaz on 09/25/19 1

Abel hits the streets of Amsterdam for the best late night food in this Dutch city. He starts the night off at an Amsterdam institution, Cafe Schiller in Rembrandt Square, for the fried balls of dough and meat known as bitterballen, or “brown gold,” before biking over to Roopram Roti, a Surinamese restaurant that serves the city’s best roti. After a few more drinks, Abel heads to FEBO, a vending-machine restaurant that serves burgers and sandwiches, and talks to a few Amsterdam locals. He ends the night at Metsut 2 for kapsalon, a dish invited in the Netherlands that's made up of French fries topped with shawarma.
