Canon.com/ijsetup allows you to perform a factory reset on the printer, setup and solve manual related issues to help it install all the default options provided by the manufacturer. To restore the printer's default setting, the cancel or resume button must be pressed and held. You have to hold it until 17 times straight flashes on the alarm next to it. You may let go of the button after the 17th flash. This would restore to your printer all of the default option that was programmed.
