Harmony Hotel's First Philosopher in Residence Program

In August 2012 The Harmony Hotel hosted a Philosopher in Residence program with author and philosopher Tamler Sommers, from the University of Houston, and Cornell social psychologist David Pizarro. Professors Sommers and Pizarro explored cross-cultural views on moral responsibility and punishment at a community event held at the hotel's Juice Bar. During their time in Nosara, Pizarro and Sommers created a podcast series with accessible, entertaining discussions about the central issues in science and ethics.
