Episode #1: Real World Police Albuquerque Titled either "An Exercise In Restraint" or "Black Lives Matter Gone Wild" Off to an auspicious start here, with Episode #1 coming a full three days behind schedule :-) In my defense, I have no idea what the hell happened. Not only did the file end up being corrupt and too long for an unverified account, but I ultimately had to edit the entire episode over again from scratch. Yer welcome. Real World Police aims to present policing like it really is, without regard for "sides" or political correctness. Some episodes will have you meeting the most unreasonable people you have ever seen, and will show cops doing an excellent job of deescalation (like here), others will surely show the cops being unreasonable. They are people. My main objective is to present content you won't find elsewhere, and to present it in full - from initial contact through either arrest or release - with as little bias as I can muster. I do engage in censorship, primarily in subject matter. For example, you won't be seeing many (if any) domestic violence calls, despite such calls being an unfortunate mainstay of police work. Same with sexual violence. I don't anticipate posting completed suicide calls, or other calls which might significantly implicate the privacy interests of a victim. And this is not a channel meant to shock you with the outrageousness of its content. It's simply a place to make you think, and perhaps to learn something.
