Step back into the beauty of history with this lovely Merrimon-Wynne House Wedding. This magnificent estate, located in the beautiful town of Raleigh, NC, is full of splendor. Soaring ceilings, boundless natural light, and great company filled the spaces of these lovely upstairs suites. Fun and games for the guys and laughter and libations for the gals. Once ready, it was time to loosen the nerves a bit. Chris, the groom, awaited Amberly, the bride, as she cascaded elegantly down the staircase to share in a "first touch" with her soon to be husband. Sharing in soft touches, letter exchanges, and a bit of laughter, this moment was indeed a great way to relieve a little tension. The bridal party then gathered up and headed over to the lovely Sacred Heart Cathedral. A lovely, grand Catholic church to act as the focal point for these two. During the ceremony, the two celebrated in Amberly's Cuban roots by incorporating a Mantilla. This delicate veil signifies the encapsulating of their two hearts and protection of God being bestowed upon their marriage. After saying their vows and being joined as a Raleigh's newest couple, everyone headed over to the Merrimon-Wynne House. Folks were astounded as they walked into this gorgeous estate and were greeted with stunning decor, florals, and much-anticipated cocktails. To further incorporate Amberly's Cuban culture, guests were treated to a wonderful array of delightful food. After filling the bellies and consuming some liquid courage, it was time to hit the floor and dance the night away. DJ Rang hit the ones and twos while the crowd danced their hearts out. The party eventually ascended into the "hora loca" or "crazy hour." Flashing lights, glowing glasses, and bright batons were the standard as everyone kept the party going right up until the last dance. As guests left to prepare for the sparkler send-off, Amberly and Chris stuck behind to share in one final, private dance. Reflecting back on the magnificence of their wedding day, it was a beautiful, raw, and emotional moment for this couple.
