We had never filmed two grooms at a wedding before and were absolutely thrilled they said yes to us and trusted us to capture their wedding video perfectly. Having previously captured a same-sex wedding (www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4hRnkWaxDo), we knew the vows, toasts, and speeches would be one of the highlights of the day and anxiously awaited our first gay wedding. Upon arriving at Pullen Baptist in Raleigh, NC, we first saw Eddie, their amazing friend, and incredibly talented first-time wedding planner. Before getting ready, Daniel shared a few gifts with his family. Meanwhile, John, his daughter, and sister were across the hall getting all prepped for the day. After the guys were prepped, dressed, and feeling dapper, it was finally time for their much anticipated first look. This gay wedding first look was unlike any other we had experienced before. Thankfully we were able to venture outside into the lovely gardens for this special moment. The two stood back-to-back and had prepared letters to read aloud to one another. Their speeches brought us all to tears as we were privileged to listen in on this gay couples most intimate, touching story. What happened after, we were completely unprepared for. Daniel and John spun around and shared in one of the most passionate, raw moments. They left their hearts on display for our lenses to capture and our souls leaped for joy in this new bond being formed on their wedding day. During their gay wedding ceremony, friends and family brought roses to place in memory of those who had gone on before us. One thing in particular that stood out, was when Daniel passionately noted that their closest friends and family had all taken the time out of their lives to join in celebrating this day with them. What a beautiful moment for this couple and their friends to be able to share in. In addition to their beautiful speeches during the first look, Daniel and John also wrote heartfelt gay wedding vows to share in front of the congregation. Their words spoke volumes of the love they share for one another and sealed this wonderful union in their beloved church under the sanctity of God. After sealing their marriage with a kiss, the couple headed over to Traine in Raleigh, NC. This quaint wedding venue was dressed up exquisitely for their wedding reception. The two grooms made their grand entrance and shared in a touching first dance. Later, they took a few moments to share a dance with their family, including John's sister and daughter, as well as Daniel's mother and sister. The reception decor featured gorgeous florals complete with true blue colors and a stunning wedding cake. Friends and family shared touch speeches about the couple and then the DJ cranked up the music as they danced into the night. The dance floor was graced with boundless energy and joyful laughter, a perfect ending to a perfect day. ------ Facebook - www.facebook.com/HoneyDewFilms/ Instagram - www.instagram.com/honeydewfilms/ Subscribe - www.youtube.com/channel/UC2xTgLSEDjR5EuUyJULQAfw?sub_confirmation=1 More Raleigh Weddings - www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLAcd_ryjdXK6_FZ-26DuwbZAgf_pOIwdp ------- #ncwedding #raleighwedding #weddingvideo #gaywedding ------ Music Bed Sync ID: MB01VXL4D3PEWYD
