The Nian Monster, written by Andrea Wang and illustrated by Alina Chau, is a story about a little girl who outwits a mean dragon. It's set in China and there are lots of references to Chinese culture and tradition! Learn about the legend and how it influences Chinese culture today! This is part of the 40 Days of Summer Read Alouds. For 40 days during the summer, Dr. Vu will do a read aloud each day! It'll be a fun way to keep reading during the summer.
