Oni is a Sludge/Progressive Metal band that was formed in Neskaupstaður, Iceland 2010, with the goal to play good and heavy metal without knowing in which direction to go, with an outcome of a tight mix of sludge and progressive metal.The current members of the group are listed under the members section if you couldn't follow that already. Robbi, the singer. Influenced by so many artists from so many different genres of music, that gives the band a unique sound. Daníel Magnús, the guitar player, known for his awesome riffs and fantastic melodies, or as the other three band members like to call him "Innflytjandi" or immigrant is an Icelander that spent most of his life in the Bahamas. He does not know how to "bend" the words in Icelandic making it impossible to understand him. Steini Árna is the bassist and does also a little bit of backing vocals. He also does other work as bassist covering many other genres than metal and is notorious for the long amount of time he takes to retrieve his bass. Bjartur Sæmundsson - The man who lays down the beats. This guy knows how to drum. Technical like hell, influenced from many other forms and hyperactive. Can't ever keep still and when you see him drum you wonder if he ever has a severe case of ADHD. There is a possibility that he sold his soul to the devil. Either that or it's ADHD, definitely.
