New research group to explore challenges in cell therapy

Cell therapy had become a vital and integral component of medicine. But experts said that significant challenges like safety, efficacy and costs were preventing its widespread adoption. To overcome those challenges, the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) launched a new research group called Critical Analytics for Manufacturing Personalized Medicine or CAMP. Professor Krystyn Van Vliet, co-lead principal investigator of SMART CAMP and professor for Materials Science & Biological Engineering at MIT, was in the studio to discuss more.
