First part of a 3 day camping trip. I arrived on site with only a few hours of sunlight left. I build a safe fire site for my campfire in the forest by using the traditional method of laying rocks on the ground and clearing the floor as much as possible. After that was just pure joy since i was not able to have a campfire in months due to the previous fire ban. I even neglected dinner in order to just stare at the flames.
