The federal and Ontario governments square off this week in Ontario's top court over Ottawa's contentious climate-change law implementation of the federal carbon tax. At issue is the validity of federal legislation that imposes a charge on industrial polluters, and on gasoline and other fossil fuels in the four provinces that refused to impose their own carbon pricing regimes that meet national standards.
