This is a song my daughter, Hannah Celine, wrote when her big brother left home for U.S. Army Boot Camp in Missouri. She was only 8 years old at the time and (being a songwriter himself) he had told her, "If you ever miss me while I'm gone don't hold it all inside. Write it down into a song." So a short time after he left she came to me and told me what her brother had said. She said, "I wrote our song." Then she handed me a full sheet of paper about her big brother going off to the Army. This song came off of that sheet of paper. I just helped organize it and then we recorded it. It took us a few days to get it down, (between wiping the tears away) but we got it done! She's older now, and her big brother is still in the Army and doing well. This is my version of her song. I hope you enjoy.
