Trevor and his family spent a day predator fishing for pike in a loch near Edinburgh with Alba Game Fishing, an Orvis Endorsed guiding service in Scotland. We drifted around the loch taken fish from the surface on lures as well as in deeper water using soft plastics. A delicious lunch of seasonally produced lamb and cous cous washed down with some fine whisky and wine was enjoyed in the lodge overlooking the loch. We do not use wire traces or trebles at this venue and grip and grins are minimised, most fish being released at the side of the boat without handling, we had about 24 for the day the biggest about 12lb
