ALS SURVIVOR | Lou Gehrig's Disease story: 6 Pals (People w/ ALS): Harry

submitted by healthbleep.com on 04/18/14 1

My hope is that this series will be able to educate & inform people about ALS. Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord resulting in muscle weakness and atrophy. Over 5,600 people a year in the U.S. are newly diagnosed. There is no known cause OR cure & it can strike anyone, regardless of their age, gender, or race. THANK YOU Harry for allowing us to share your story. Directed by Rich Dahl & shot by Flo Stadler for ALSA LA ©2009
